I've been really depressed thinking that no one loves me, what can i say i just hate myself, and i want to commit suicide but i keep thinking about what would happen to my future, and about the kids i will have and a husband. Hopefully i will find hope and believe in myself. BUT I THINK YOUR A CRAZY MOTHER FUCKER TO SUGGEST TO LITTLE KIDS 13 AND YOUNGER TO COMMIT SUICIDE. I'm only 16 and i'm going to try my best to live my life. The worst thing is you think this is all a joke, i hope that one day you feel so depressed that you want to take your own life, and you'll realize how desperate we fell to even look into your site. Imagine all the kids that killed themselves to your painful disgusting methods. You should be encouraging the depressed people to go see a psychiatrist fast. Me, i'm just going to go to my psychiatrist and ask for a higher dose of anti-depressants.
And people who think that taking your life is dumb i'll just explain how us unhappy people feel: some of us are incapable of feeling loved and they hate themselves, others think that there is no future for them. 15 Mar 2002 Simon Cowel I do have friends Mouchette but I, like everyone, have a certain amount of spare time. When searching for advice to help a suicidal friend, I did not expect to come across such a site as this.
More than anything it disgusts me. And if you want 'amusing' posts then you could surely think of a better way than this? Have you considered that many of the people here are really toying with the idea of taking their lives, and, how do YOU personally feel about that?
Does it not bother you, even if very deep down?
I do not know much about you, but I guess you are quite fucked up. Have you ever experienced suicide in its rawest? I seriously doubt you have - to see a cold, pale dead body hanging there in your garage, or to see a young girl whos face has turned yellow and her kidneys are failing, and she is in so much pain, well have you?
Since you are so proud of your site maybe you should get out there and see it all for real.

i really doubt that whoever started this thing is really bothered in forms of suicide, more likely trying to grab attention and appearing 'great' through being extreme enuff to develop such a site - similar to madonna, shocking your audience does seem to get more attention?

Do you feel that by creating a site that relies on shock value is able to get more notice than an artist in an art gallery?... If I was to take a picture of myself taking a shit from the back end and grinnin' do you think that it would cause the same kind of publicity that you have managed to gain here?

I want a personal answer not the same one that you send out to every one that writes something down here.

If I get that same answer I will know that the idea of mouchette has lost its potential value as art.

I urge you to take this page down. I'm guessing that your essential reason for creating it was to gain attention as an artist. Well, I'm a senior at a prominent art school, and I have to tell you, this idea is crappy.
Shock value is simple and easy (both to create and to understand) but it is often devoid of richer readings. And in your case, tasteless.
